MACHINE SELECTION, GROUNDED.

Match capability, condition and supportability to the work before comparing labels or listings.

Specify the work before the machine.

VIFA CNC does not publish inventory claims. This page provides a framework for evaluating a new or refurbished machine against the part, process and plant.

CNC machine enclosure and working area

Start with the process envelope

List material, finished geometry, tolerance, surface requirement, batch pattern, fixture concept and inspection method. Axis travel and spindle power matter, but so do access, chip evacuation, thermal behaviour and the repeatability needed at the planned cycle.

For a refurbished machine

Separate cosmetic condition from evidence of capability. Review geometry reports where available, backlash or positioning checks, spindle condition, lubrication, electrical cabinet condition, safety circuits, control backup status and supportability of critical components. A trial part is useful only when its material, setup and inspection plan reflect the intended work.

For a new machine

Define acceptance tests before commercial comparison. Include utilities, foundation, toolholding, workholding, data transfer, operator access and maintainability. Confirm what commissioning documents and backups will remain with the owner.

Guidance, not a catalogue: machine availability, price and suitability require direct verification with the relevant seller. No listing on this site represents stock.
